Congratulations to Sarah from "Cottage Garden Studio's" for her winning contribution:
The water flowed silently out of the hose. Much as the life had flowed from the dwelling the fire had consumed. Damp and blackened it let out it's last sighs in sizzles and little puffs of smoke.

The day began just like any other with a wonder of what to do; until they reached the school parking lot, where they found fire trucks and children. It was a beautiful summer day, water rushing out of the hoses and children dancing under it's refreshment. Summer.
The passersby were curious about the water filling up the street; mostly, they were intriqued by the circular axel like machine from which the water was flowing. It was something new for their eyes to take in and their minds scrambled to put a name to the object. Regardless of the proper name, the image would forever be stored away in their mental filing cabinet.

Wow! This is one big hose! I could have the dairy hosed down in record time with a hose like that. All the cow poo will be despatched to the effluent pond in the blink of an eye. And I would have time for other things, like....a life.
Thanks, Dani - I just peeked in there and see that you have a wonderful eye for capturing beauty too!! Talented Lady, you are :)
Glad you will be sharing it all with us here - your words have touched my heart in the past ♥
