Fill my pocket of thirty years
with shining memories of times
as a giggling love bloomed
under that loyal regal bark.


Squeeze my graceful love
as her eyes sparkle again
remembering our clumsy try
to etch out a lopsided heart.

One day I hope to be embraced with such loving hands Ina said to herself as she added one last touch of gold paint to the porcelain piece. Thinking of her grandmother as she placed in carefully into tissue and into the small box she prepared for the special Christmas present. Ina knew grandmother missed pappa deeply and this would remind her of the wonderful stories she had told her grand daughter as a girl...
