Slowly she stitched delicate cloth of treasure for young one's keepsake
As I looked at this picture, I thought of a grandmother gently placing these pieces of embroidery on a table for her granddaughter's delight. I thought a haiku would be a nice way to try and represent that possibility.

Perched near their flowers
Six little animals
Ready to leap and fly
Six little animals,
Stitched on my napkins.

Septembermom's haiku is absolutely perfect. It summed up so well the spirit in which these were made.
