Poor little one-eyed owl is obviously in good hands.
Here I sit today for all to see, on my master's hand. They all look at me and sigh. Their glances go to my left as though something magnetic draws them there. I am just a small creature. There is nothing special about myself that I know of. I just sit on my master's hand, content to be.
Once what was is now no more and what is is where I like. I only vaguely remember those times before my master's strong, gentle hands. I only have flashes of times before. I would rather not remember them.
So now I sit contented, upon my master's hand. He holds me gently and I am safe. I no longer feel fear to what has been. I look forward to each day calmly and with peace. For now I have a master looking after me.
