Tuesdays Tale: Featured Post Winner

Congrats to Heather T for your winning contribution! I was torn between the two this week, but decided on the entry that was written from this man's perspective. Thanks so much for the great writing, girls!

It had been a long day for him as he sat on the beach waiting for that perfect wave to come in; the wave that never did. As he walked the long walk back to his car, he couldn't feel a bit of frustration for how the day turned out. The only thing on his mind was the beautiful girl that he sat with waiting on the waves.

Christy didn't ask any questions when she saw him leave early on Sunday mornings. The surf pulled him in a way that she couldn't understand. Even though he was often pensive and distracted, Christy knew that Mike did feel deeply about her place in his life. She needed to release him to the ocean for those early morning rides. When he returned, Mike's spirit still seemed to be vibrating with the energy and instability of the ocean. He became a different man. Christy liked witnessing and enjoying that transformation in her husband.
