I couldn't resist running and running, the trees in the corners of my vision white blurs blending with lime and emerald and charcoal. I ran until I was out of breath. Then I pushed just a little more until I absolutely had to stop, leaning against one of the slender paper-covered pillars, gasping, panting. I didn't know how far I had run. Looking around, I wasn't even sure which direction I had come from. It was all the same, these beautiful trunks shooting up from the ground, reaching toward the sky, scattering pale green sprays against the blue. I caught my breath and started to run again.
