Thursdays The: Featured Post Winner

Thank you Dani for your great contribution.

The sculpture crouched before me in black and gold stripes as though it were hiding in the painted green trees. Its expression was one of contentment, however, and I did not fear a pounce. It stood still with its hips in the air as I studied the artistry around its body. Someday perhaps fairy dust will come sprinkle its way along its back so it can live and spring forward in that magical way from my childhood dreams.

THE Superlambanana was THE symbol of THE City of Culture, Liverpool, in 2008. THE one shown here is currently at THE train station in West Kirby. THE artist was Candida Boyes. THE name of this one is Tiger in the Woods. It is THE team lambanana of THE Tranmere Rovers Football Club.
